War Babies

01/01/1974 | Wounded Bird Records

All Music Guide Review

After crafting the fitfully accomplished blue-eyed Philly soul-pop of Abandoned Luncheonette, Hall & Oates retreated to a more rock-oriented sound on War Babies, recorded with producer Todd Rundgren. Some of the tracks work, but the duo's performance sounds forced throughout much of the record. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide
