CEMA Special Markets' Hollywood's Hottest Hits: Vol. 2 contains ten tracks, all from the EMI/Capitol vaults, which were featured in popular '90s movies like Reality Bites, Vampire in Brooklyn, Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, Clueless, Waiting to Exhale, and Pretty Woman. Musically, there's not much holding Us3's "Cantaloop (Flip Fantasia)," Crowded House's "Locked Out," MC Hammer's "Pray," Blondie's "The Tide Is High," the Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Higher Ground," the Knack's "My Sharona" (oddly enough, it was also on the first Hollywood's Hottest Hits), EMF's "Unbelievable," Radiohead's "Fake Plastic Trees" and Go West's "King of Wishful Thinking," but it's still a fairly entertaining collection, especially considering that it's a budget-line disc. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide
