The Swedish Dot label announced itself quietly in the first quarter of 1997 with four 12-inches of genre-blending electronica that had the likes of Mixmaster Morris and Lamb's Andy Barlow extending themselves in heavy praise. Dot's first CD release, The Knights Who Say Dot collects some of the finer moments of those first twelves and adds six new tracks from Hab, Tupilaq, Friend, and newcomer Doktor Kosmos. A mixture of warm, melodic techno, electronic funk, and schizzy drum'n'bass, The Knights Who Say Dot is likely an introduction of sorts to a new era in club music -- experimental music as listenable as it is mixable/danceable, and not nearly as ghettoized in its appeal as house, jungle, or techno. ~ Sean Cooper, All Music Guide
