Kim Gordon revealed her very own fashion line to The New York Times' Fashion & Style section earlier this month, pointing potential customers in the direction of a limited "military-style wool jacket inspired by Françoise Hardy." Dubbed Mirror/Dash—see also her side project with husband/Sonic Youth co-founder Thurston Moore—the line is intended to fulfill "a need for clothes for cool moms."
"Some people make limited-edition records," Gordon explained. "We're making a limited-edition jacket."
Only 50 jackets will be available through Mirror/Dash's Web site, www.mirrordash.com. Expect more designs throughout the coming year.
