George Clooney doesn't known the meaning of the phrase "down time." The ultra-busy actor is now considering starring in Up in the Air, the film adapatation of the novel by Walter Kirn which will be directed by Jason Reitman. Clooney would play a human resources administrator who becomes totally immersed in a life in the air. He subsequently becomes obsessed with reaching his one millionth frequent flier mile.
Reitman has been wanting to make the film for several years. This will be his directorial follow up to last year's Juno, for which he was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Director. Reitman's father, Ivan Reitman, also a famed director in his own right, will serve as a producer on Air.
