Scarlett Johansson is the object of lust for many fanboys. Said fans should celebrate if the pouty-lipped blonde actress finalizes negotiations to star in Amazon, an action-adventure epic about female warriors. Johansson is attached to the film, which may soon be picked up by Lionsgate. Neal H. Moritz and Original Films will produce the picture, written by Dirk Blackman and Howard McCain, once the deal is completed. The search for a director is currently underway.
In other Lionsgate/Blackman/McCain news, the trio are working on a script for Conan, the sword-wielding barbarian once brought to life by California governator Arnold Schwarzenegger. Lionsgate hopes to revive the Conan franchise with this updated script.
