Now that Pearl Jam's done with their brief U.S. tour, Eddie Vedder has announced a series of east coast solo dates, bookended by a couple of Boston (August 1-2) and Chicago (August 21-22) shows. Liam Finn will open the trek, reprising his role from Vedder's west coast leg in April.

While general public tickets go on sale July 11, members of Pearl Jam's Ten Club will be able to grab seats on July 7. As for what Pearl Jam's up to, the band is still in the beginning stages of their first album with producer Brendan O'Brien since 1998's Yield.
