Comic book mastermind Frank Miller has been confirmed to write the tricky follow up to 300, last year's eye candy epic about sandal and Speedo-sporting Spartan troops, which was recently parodied in the comedy Meet the Spartans.
Even though most of the main characters, including King Leonidas (played by Gerard Butler), died in the original, Warner Bros. has greenlit the project. No word whether the second installment of the franchise will be a prequel, a post-script, or a spin-off.
