Ruben Studdard, the season two champ of American Idol, married Surata Zuri McCants, his girlfriend of two years, in Birmingham, AL, on Saturday. The couple exchanged their vows at the Canterbury United Methodist Church alongside such friends and family as Studdard's 20 groomsmen.
Studdard and McCants met at an Atlanta Wal-Mart in 2006. The singer was signing autographs at the time and followed McCants to the toy aisle in hopes of scoring her phone number.
